Please read the following before attempting to add a record:
In order to be able to add/edit records, you first need to join the 'Regular Users' usergroup. Simply scroll to the bottom of the Forums and click on the 'Usergroups' link. In the 'Non-member groups', select 'Regular Users' from the drop-down box. Alternatively you can click here. Finally, click on the 'Join Group' button. A member of the TBL Admin Team will then approve your application to join. Approval may granted within several seconds or it may take several days. Please wait at least five days before contacting an Administrator, asking for approval. Please don't constantly bug us about it; we will approve everybody but we're busy people and so it might not be possible to do this as promptly as you'd like.
Once you've been approved, you may add a record. To add/alter a record, navigate to the appropriate section in the EHM Records Room. When viewing the relevant section (such as the NHL: Team Records section, etc.), scroll to the bottom of the page and click on 'Edit'. Editting the section is exactly the same as editting a post in the Forums so you should find no troubles doing this! Once you have added/editted a record, click on the Submit button to save the data.
Having added or editted a record, you must post in this thread, stating the details of the previous record (if applicable) and the details of your record. It is imperative that you do this straight after you post your record otherwise it will be removed.
If you have a record that doesn't fit one of the categories in the relevant section then post in this thread stating what your record is and the Admin Team will consider whether to add the new category and your record to the Records Room.
When adding your record in the Records Room, please try to ensure that you keep the format the same as eveyone else. Anyone who regularly ignores our formatting rules will have their right to edit the records removed. The format that a record should be entered in the Records Room should be one of the following:
Team Records: Number of goals, etc. (or whatever the record is) - Team Name (versus (team playing against - if applicable)) (League (not needed if it's in the NHL)) - Your forum username - (Date that you entered the record)
Player Records: Number of goals, etc. (or whatever the record is) - Player Name (Team he plays for) (versus (team playing against - if applicable)) (League (not needed if it's in the NHL)) - Your forum username - (Date that you entered the record)
Please post dates in the following format: dd Mon yyyy (i.e. the number of the day, then a three letter abbreviation of the month, and the year as four numbers).
This might look a bit confusing at first but once a couple of people have posted some records it will become obvious. If you have any doubts or questions then feel free to ask in this thread - the Admin Team are always happy to help. If you're not sure what format to post your record in then we can help you

Most wins in the season
81 - Boston Bruins - Archibalduk (26 Feb 2006)
Quickest hattrick scored
2 minutes - Joe Thornton (Boston Bruins) (versus San Jose Sharks) - Archibalduk (26 Feb 2006)
It's not that hard really. I just suck at explaining things

If nothing makes sense, feel free to ask. Please keep in mind that the granting of mod powers so that users can edit the records in the Records Room is on a trust basis. Abuses of this trust will see the closure of the Records Room.
Oh, and who will be the first to spot the example of my twisted humour in this post?!
