I'm watching the game between USA and France, after the first period it's tied at 1-1. France took the lead and Okposo scored the equalizer late in first.
USA dominates the game, but Christobal Huet is playing really good, as always when he plays for France.

It seems Swedes are all-right so far, the Red Machine seems winding up step by step. Alas I haven't seen Suomi yet.

Here in the US we don't get to watch them at all. NBC Sports has the rights, but is not airing games aside from a couple involving USA (and often then only on replay later on in the evening).

Most fans who are desperate enough here are finding illegal streams to watch them. But most of us won't go to the trouble to.

TSN has been airing the US and Canada games live. And all other games are available on thier mobile app. I also know that I saw on the IIHF site that you can watch them on YouTube.

USA is one of the countries geo-blocked from the YouTube streams, and in fact they (IIHF) started delaying the streams by 30 minutes the other day because of people trying to work around the geoblocks anyways.

I actually have TSN's Android app (Score's too) and see no way to watch games or video. Only a TV schedule. No way to queue up a video. Probably something lame like video only streaming onto iOS devices, not Android...

So yeah. Hunting down an illegal feed is the only way here. I actually watched a feed of the end of regulation of the USA-CAN game live that I'd hunted down, but it conked out before OT. I haven't tried since...

Exciting game between Kazakshtan and USA !! After two periods, the game is tied 1-1. Honestly, I think Kazakhstan has been a bit better team today. Jack Johnson took a stupid penalty, which made Kazaks' tying goal to happen. Konstatin Pushkarev made a nice pp-goal, maybe top10 material.

USA won 3-2 at OT. Pretty tough match, Kazakshtan made good work for point. Still it looks they will drop to B.

FIN-CAN 2-0 after first period. Don't know what's on Duncan Keith, lots of naff passes, including assist to Mikko Koivu's 2-0 goal. Shots on goal were about 14-3 for Finland. :-)

I've never seen Canada taking time-out in first period. :-o

The referees in Russia-Sweden are horrible. They miss obvious penalties, but they give penalties when there shouldn't be any. The referees has lost control of the game.

There's a lot of feelings in the game and Franzén and Malkin was just involved in a little fight.
In the first period Emelin speared Franzén in the groin aftet Franzén slashed him. In that situation Franzén should have got 2 minutes and Emelin should have got game misconduct. But the referees let it pass. After that Emelin has dived twice and bott times a Swedish player has got a penalty against him.

Yeah, the refs were horrible, but Sweden could not do anything to stop the amazing Malkin from leading Russia to a 7-3 victory

Yeah, Malkin was amazing in the game.
But I'm worried about all the injuries Sweden got so far.

Sweden-Russia 3:7

Russia:
1) Varlamov's NHL-manner leads to failure again (3d score of Sweden). Skating forward from the net to reduce shooting angle - but after the pass you have no time to skate back. Give Barulin a chance in a serious game! And this sitting on knees again... you are not Hasek, man! :-x
2) Malkin is a real Leader. He proved it again. Deserving the first World Champion title in his career.
3) We have paid back for provocations with BLOOD. That's a matter to think twice for future opponnents.
4) First pass, entering the attacking zone, penalty killing, defence game - are still to improve.

Sweden:
1) "Goalie problem" is obvious. I think Lundkvist can refuse to come after such a sweating season...
2) There's Zetterberg and Alfredsson - and there's Frantzen. Feel the difference. Swede warriors know how to score goals - so use it instead of your fists and mouths!
3) Per Marts seems similar to comrade Zakharkin... :-D Theoretician with glasses and drawing-board... When your plan A failed where is your plan B?

And these referees are ... AWFUL.

Finland vs USA

- Both teams want full points , should be a fairly high scoring game
- Finland's defence will have to improve a lot after 5-3 loss to canada
- Who ever takes more penalties is in trouble - good powerplay on both sides

My guess , 4-2 to Finland , 1st Line ( Jokinen , Koivu , Filppula ) is on fire .

Russia-Chech Republic = 2:0

The main problem of Chech team of all time - the same playing style. "Viscous" defensive game with quick counterattacks. At least in games versus Russia. But what suits and gains success against Bykov's unbalanced, emotional, free-minded and even unruleable team - that clearly fails against Bylialetdinov's scrupulous style, strictly following the game plan through discipline and cold head. Plus Barulin's self-confidence. I'm sure that Varlamov would let Chechs score at least once...

Clear victory in all meanings. =D>

Ovechkin and Semin are coming to team Russia. Will this make their team better or will they mess the good package? I vote on last alternative :\

You are absolutely right. I was hoping that Bill (Bylialetdinov's nickname :-) ) will enlist in roster those players that are waiting there, with national team. But these insatiable Ovi and Semi don't want to rest... I'm afraid it can break some already existing chemistry in lines...

But if Red Machine seems being on the right track, what is happening with Suomi fellows? :-?

Germany - Norway 4-12 =D>

Switzerland's out... the only good thing is that a next chance to get to the quarter-finals come soon (next year).
after good games against Kazakshtan, Belarus, Canada and Finland they played horrible and lost against France ](*,) , and Slovakia

The game against USA only will be a friendly-game.
