Batch contract editor

Post by adawxawx »

Hi is there a way to multiply all of the contract values in the game by a certain factor? I want to do this to all of the contracts:

(Value) * (44000000/70000000)

Because a high salary cap makes the game act wierdly.

So basically this: Value * 0.6285714285714286

You could use the EHM Updater to export the staff contracts and then modify them all in Excel before reimporting them.

Alternatively, you do know you can modify the salary caps? You can edit the cap in the transfer_rules.cfg file located in your database's folder. Some more info here: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 650#p23650

The csv file that the Updater initially exports has all of the contract values currently in game...you can save the csv file as an excel file, and then using basic excel functionality you can add a column, have the column determine the math and then copy/paste your new salary amounts over the current values...save the excel file as csv and then import the new salary amounts into EHM!

I see Archi beat me to the answer!

Wow thanks!! :)

I think that the NHL salaries should all be changed to their 06-07 equivalent for updated DB's (44 million dollar salary cap).. for example, if the Cap Limit for next season is 70.3 million then multiply by (44/70.3). You can have very high cap hits for players (like ovechkin would be 5.95 equivalent... same thing as 9.5 with 70.3 million, no more 7.8 maximum!), that's the main thing.

No need for that
The updated DB's have updated salary cap as well

I know you can have updated salary cap!

A 06-07 equivalent just makes the game play better. You cant have a salary cap hit of over 7.8 million in the default game! that's the problem.
