Oh...my....God....

Re: Our recent Dave Lewis discussion.

You know how there are these MTV "What Ever Happened to...?" shows? Well, we just found out what happened to Dave Lewis. He's deep within the Division 1 IIHF World Championships, as shown in the following quote:

Earning its fifth straight victory on what was ultimately an inconsequential OT goal by Fyodor Polishuk at 2:01, Kazakhstan parked Ukraine’s hopes of rejoining the elite 16 like the two Skoda cars at either end of the packed Palace of Sports. The Ukrainians settled for bronze.

"Kazakhstan has been the best team of the tournament," said Ukrainian head coach Dave Lewis. "They deserve where they're going next."

Yes, Dave Lewis is coaching the Ukrainian National Team; hosts of the 2011 Div1 tournament. Not only that, but they were a pretty big disappointment, finishing third behind Kazakhstan and GB. Ouch.

Honestly, making a playful comment about a guy's nose and giving 22,000 fans (including children) the finger just does not compare. Although I love both gaffes equally.

I haven't heard any Bruins fans complain about the tweet about Marchand's nose. Most I know laughed at it. I'm almost positive that the guys on his own team bust his chops about his nose. It's a pretty big nose! What most Bruins fans (myself included) took issue with was that Paciorretty was such a coward and deleted it. if you're going to make a dig at somebody, do it. Don't take it back! And for me, that also include Ference trying to say he didn't give the crowd the middle finger intentionally. I understand he tried to make an excuse and blame his glove because he was worried about a suspension but once again, if you're going to do something, do it and face whatever consequences there might be. Man up!

Ference's explanation widdled off Habs fans even more, so I don't see the problem :D
I didn't get the joke with Pacioretty's twitter message to be honest. He posted that after two periods. That's not long, that's not even a full game...so how does that relate to Marchand's nose, which is long ? Made no sense at all. He should've tweeted that during the second OT to make it work. Putting aside the fact that he stole the line from Jack Edwards.

Ouch! Hard hit from Lucic on Spacek and he is bleeding alot. Lucic is out of the game good riddance, he clearly deserve his misconduct.

What a boring game!! Weird penalties ( especially Bergeron's one in the first period ) and I'm sooooooo tired of the Habs always dump the goddamn puck. So finally game 7, at least my prediction is right for the games played, let see what team will win this now.

Seems like Buffalo will be playing golf!

So I see Spacek has risen from the dead.
And I'm sure Kaberle is a Burke sleeper agent. I'd rather have Hnidy in there.

Honestly, the Habs won solely because of that 5 min PP (and the subsequent delay of game penalty). Boston was the better team. As a Habs fan, I can say that it would be a travesty if the Bruins didn''t win. They deserve this.

I know Spacek wasn't hurt, but one has to admit that it was a pretty brutal looking hit. Smashed his face right into the boards. However, I must admit, the officiating favored the Habs tonight. That Horton penalty that screwed the breakaway was awful; so was the penalty with 3 minutes left. The Habs got lucky tonight and will need more of the same to pull it out in game 7.

Good luck tomorrow guys. I will be playing in a ball hockey league tomorrow night to avoid the inevitable brain aneurysm if I were to watch the game.

Chris Lee really needs to be locked away. I guess we can agree the zebras killed that game. But I don't wanna complain about officiating, Bruins played a good road game but kept shooting themselves in the foot with idiotic penalties and the powerplay continues to be a momentum killer. Those penalties that put the Habs on their two 5 on 3s were actually called properly. I thought the hit on Spacek was a minor penalty, Spacek really turned away and made it all worse. Maybe he didn't even see Lucic, but when Lucic commited to the hit Spacek wasn't facing the boards. But that still would've given the Habs a 5 on 3, and Paille wasn't any worse than Lucic on that "first" line.

I'm sure you're joking but I think this may be a very valid point.

Let's hope the refs swallow their whistles tonight and let the boys play.

I said to my friend that I was watching the game with- I hope Montreal gets a lot of penalties in the third, they do a better job of shutting Boston down with only 4 skaters. They have gone 25 minutes on the PK without allowing a goal, that's way better than their 5 on 5 record.

The ref were atrocious yesterday of course. Bergeron's penalty in the first was ridiculous, he barely touched Price who fall on the ice by himself. I think the 5 min for Lucic was alright but he doesn't need a suspension at all for this, like Danny said, he turned himself because he was dumping the puck. I hope the game will be better tonight!

Hahahaha Nucks pass the Hawks!!! =D> :joy: Luongo finally handle some pressure. Now let see if they can handle the Preds. The only thing that can stop them now IMO is the Wings.

Great 2-0 Bruins already! Habs look like they are sleeping with just 5 min of play and the Bruins are on fire, not looking good so far....

What an awful goal Thomas just gave, that wasn't pretty IMO. He almost made a huge mistake with Moen too earlier.
