Re: Researchers needed
Hey, I'm living in Finland, so the Nordic countries would be my natural area to do research about anything. I can also do that around whole Europe, if needed.

Re: Researchers needed
Update on name researching:
Given the recent efforts of BladeRunner and myself, some sets initially posted as needing researching are now done, or nearing completion. Here's an updated list of what is needed:
Of hockey-playing nations:
North Korean, Algerian, Welsh (currently being researched), French (currently being researched), Moroccan, Norwegian (first names only), Flemmish, Wallon, Mexican (currently being researched), Catalan, Bashkir.
I'm adding here Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Hong Kong, Turkish, Pakistani, Argentinian, Israeli, Mongolian, Macedonian and Montenegrin. Mongolian is already started; I like Macedonian names so I'll swiftly take care of this one as well. Turkish is actually researched and relatively sizeable, but I'm not satisfied with it.
Of non-hockey-playing nations:
Most, but these will probably not be researched for the initial iteration of the game (unless someone is itching to), as it's too heavy a burden for the moment.
Last time I made a calculation (spring 2011), the names database was so deep it allowed for the generation of over 775,000,000 unique names. Many sets were built since and the actual numbers are probably around 1,000,000,000 unique names now. Regens won't all be named the same like in EHM! Big thanks to all those who have helped, are helping and will help with namesets building. Your contributions were much appreciated.
