As I've said please message me about these matters instead of posting as we prefer to handle board discipline matters off the board and with the collective opinions/advice of the whole Admin Team. I only posted the above messsage when we found our second person who obviously was cheating. We didn't have fast proof
how but come on!!!

We're not idiots and we know the general range someone can accomplish within the Challenge rules. Sure, at some point someone may legitimately blow away a Challenge field but the more people there are the less likely it is to happen I think.
As I mentioned, I don't want this to become a witch hunt with everyone questioning everyone else and today I'm glad I pointed that out because in actuality we've only had
one cheater in the Challenges. That's right; Cobra84 and N.Bystok are one and the same. They post from the identical IP address which is now
I started to piece that together yesterday; due to both having French screenshots using the same skin as well as N.Bystok posting something to the tune of: "Anytime someone posts really great stats you find a way to keep them out of the Challenge." I was wondering, this is a user who hasn't made any other posts, only supposedly read the Challenge instructions and submitted his results. Most new users wouldn't care to read back in the recording thread so how did this guy know we've discredited people (Cobra84) before?
Each time he tried he screwed something up though; the first time was his trading wrong year draft picks and posting screenshots about it as Cobra84 then we all started wondering how he made trades with scrubs for Untouchable players like Bouwmeester. This was when he obviously didn't know the game records enough proff to bust him on those trades.
Apparently he was upset that we hadn't 'officially' caught him on his second go-round but still disqualified him as we know something wasn't right. So he came back with a new account to try and make it look like we were unjustly keeping SuperGMs out of the Challenge; but if the 9 losses with Carolina through 60 games wasn't enough of a red flag he also didn't take the two step necessary to join the Challenge, email be and simply post you promise people you'll play by the rules. No need for further discussion of how he got those stats. So in the end he cheated really bad and was also a really bad cheater
So that's the deal folks, we just wanted to let you know. This though is why I make people jump through the silly hoops they have to in joining. It's not because of you; it's because of The Others (to speak in Lost terms

). As I said I trust everyone here until given a reason not to. This is the first user we've had to ban but the Challenge system and rules functioned as planned to cover if someone wanted to try and pull one over on us.
It didn't work, we even caught it three times. And no, it won't work in the future either.
Thanks for your time and for the people that have made the Challenges so much fun by battling it out on the level playingfield it provides. We hope to run many many more. So we'll keep you posted on how it's going...
And we thank you for your support.
