TBL and DMHNL have been officially working together since July 2009, promoting each other's sites and providing help and support to each other. This has greatly benefited TBL in that we have had the expertise of Shooter, rk2k3 and members of the DMHNL to provide information on online gaming in our EHM Online Forum. Equally, promoting DMHNL on TBL has provided the league with new users who may otherwise have not considered signing up.
Owing to this success, Shooter has taken the decision to make TBL the new home of the DMHNL Forums. In the Forum Index you will find a new EHM Online Gameplay section where the DMHNL is now located.

I thought it might be useful to quote Shooter's announcement on the "old" DMHNL Forum:
I am happy to announce that our forums will now be hosted by the largest fan site and forum for EHM, The Blue Line. Over the past year, we have been working closely with TBL in order to increase the awareness of online play. The site itself has been a great resource for myself and many others in learning the aspects of playing this great game. Moving our forums to TBL will increase the visibility of EHM Online and make online leagues more enjoyable and competitive.
What I need you all to do is now register to the site. Once you have done that - email me your username and I will add you to the DMHNL Group. This will give you the ability to see and post on certain sections of the site that others cannot. For example, our list of VNC'ers and our email contact list will not be visible to the rest of the TBL community.
We have basically set up the forums on TBL to mimic what we have here on our current forums. Here is a simple walk through:
From the "home" page, when logged in, you will see this. What this will allow you to do is:
1) See what new posts have been made since your last visit, as you can see on the left hand side.
2) See any major announcements that have happened in the TBL community. I have been encouraged to ensure that the DM make announcements here to increase the visibility and activity of the site.
3) You can click on the "EHM Forums" across the top which will bring you to the TBL Forum Page.
Scroll down the TBL Forum Page and you will see this:
As you can see, it is very similar to what we have here on the DM Forum. The first three sections; The Dressing Room, Team Management, and Other are all visible to the entire TBL Community, however, only DMHNL Group members can post. With the exception of the GM Sign Up of course!
The fourth section, General EHM Online Chat, will be there for newcomers to ask questions and other leagues to post information, etc.Once inside any of the first three sections, you will see something like this:
Across the top, you will see that you have a shortcut to every part of the DM Section of the TBL site.
Next, is a part that I like quite a bit. We now have a point system for GM's when they win and this will be updated as soon as you are all registered. The aim is to have points for Stanley Cup Winners, Stanley Cup Runners Up & Presidents Trophy Winners. Funny enough, only two GM's have ever gone on to win the Cup after winning the Presidents Trophy in DM. You can see below my username on the left:
You can see the little gold trophy (3pts), for my win with CBJ. There are a silver and bronze ones which will be used for the above mentioned feats. You also get points for your posts. Also, you can see that TBL have embedded the option for DMHNL Group Members to insert their team. This way from now on, you never have to guess which GM for what team has made a post - it will be automatic.
Well, this post is long enough. Any posts after midnight tonight EST should be made on the new forum. Now there will be a lag on this as I need to add you to the DMHNL Group once you email me your user name and I apologise for this but I will try my best to make it happen as quick as possible.
I really hope you guys like the change and I can only see this being beneficial to our league and our community. For some of you who dont use TBL, you will find it to be a great site to learn even more about the game.
Lastly, I would like to thank Archi and the TBL Admin team for putting up with my demands as we got things up and running. They have been very helpful! Over the next week or so, you may see additions and changes as we look to improve. We will now soon have a DMHNL HOF!
