EHM 2000ish Rosters Beta Released
The first public beta release of the new 2000/01 season rosters for Eastside Hockey Manager is now available for download HERE.
The 2000ish Rosters is a recreation of a 2000/01 roster project for EHM by Flinch which became corrupted mid-development. Flinch (aka TBIF) and xECK29x joined together to rebuild the lost data on top of the 2021/22 Premier Pivot Rosters for EHM. The source Pivot Rosters were rolled back to 2000/01 and then Flinch’s work was imported into the database as a starting point. Having done so, they decided to keep the 2021/22 teams and league structures for longevity. So essentially we have 2000/01 rosters using the 2021/22 team/league setup (but with histories up to 1999/00) and with a 2000/01 start date. Hence the name “2000ish”.
This is currently an NHL focused database but with accurate junior and NCAA paths up until the 2006 NHL draft. All NHL draft classes have been updated and detailed through to the 2010 draft class. As the modern day NHL team has additional teams compared with the 2001/00 season, you’ll find that the Seattle and Vegas teams have empty rosters at game start – and they will likely have a tough initial two or three seasons (the number of teams in the NHL might be reduced down to 30 teams based on user feedback).
Flinch and xECK29x are really keen for people to test out the beta and give any feedback in the forum thread HERE. Please do read through the thread in full as it sets out what their future plans are (and what they do not plan to implement).
With the real life NHL regular season drawing to a close very shortly, it has a been a particularly active season for EHM rosters. Not only with the continuation of the excellent Premier Pivot Rosters and Global United Hockey Rosters but also the introduction of the NHLX and 2000ish rosters, all of which are well worth checking out.
