Two Fun Web Based Games

For those of you who don’t know the members of TBL have a few online web-based games we’re playing. They aren’t run by us or even hockey related actually but I figured it would be good to have a news thread to make announcements about them anyways as they’ve proved to be popular and fun. One is a car racing simulator and the other, Popomundo, is a “become a rockstar” roleplaying type game. where you create your musician and work to become famous.

Popomundo! is a game where your character joins a band looking to become a rock star! TBL currently has two Punk Rock bands: Never Dies and The Dead Generation. We’re looking to get another group of newer players to form a Jazz group to be led by Admin Archi.

* Game proceeds in real time, easily playable in 10-15 minutes a day game moves you automatically for important events.
* Pick a music style
* Form a Band
* Learn Skills
* Write Songs
* Perform Shows
* Release Albums
* Get Famous!!!

There’s a lot of Role Play for character interaction and dressing your character etc. We’ve been having a blast with this for the last month or so and have tons of getting started info and banter in our Popomundo: The TBL Punk Scene! thread:

Just post there and we’ll get you started! Also I’ve added some reference info to our Knowldege Base about the game, with who’s playing and a quick getting started/newbie lessons learned thread.

Secondly we’re looking to get together our second season of the Formula Racing simulator Batracer

:rocketcar:

* Drivers in teams of two
* Tweak our cars during a practice and then warmup session
* Hit the track to fight it out.
* Ranks then made for a driver’s individual and a team championship
* Race every few real time days
* Time commitment is probably around 30 minus of online time every few days.

Even if you don’t know anything about racing you’ll have fun with this one, promise! Check out this thread to join in and learn more:
