Premier Pivot Rosters v5.5 (2020/21) Released

Version 5.5 of the Premier Pivot Rosters for 2020/21 is now available on Steam (click here for details and the download link)! This is a big update, as you will see from the changelist below. Thanks as always to xECK29x and his many helpers who keep the game alive!

The rosters are available in two “editions” this year with one option being a 31 team NHL/AHL like last season and the second option being a 32 team NHL/AHL with Seattle and Palm Springs added to the NHL and AHL respectively. If you would like to use the 32 team edition then you will need to go to the relevant Steam Workshop folder (usually [YOUR STEAM INSTALLATION FOLDER]\SteamApps\workshop\content\301120\1428241604) and rename the relevant database to ‘database.db’.

Changelist:

General Updates:
– Due to continued optimization and testing we have made changes to the recommended configuration for starting a new game in order to keep the most detail and prevent potentially notable players/staff from being trimmed from the DB.

— Optional but STRONGLY encouraged: retain all players/staff from at most ten nations relative to your selected league nations
– Latest notable transactions world-wide
– Fixed/adjusted CA attribute point role spreads for pure offensive and defensive player types ex: high defensive role for an offensive player or vise versa, or low defensive skill spreads for defensive roles)
– Fixed/adjusted pass tendency for “playmaker” style players to ensure they have the tendency to pass rather then shoot
– Updated UFAs from various nations — thanks Matee!!
– Champions Hockey League team pools should be fixed now — thanks Archi for the fixed Editor!!
– Updated clubs for Continental Cup

Prospect Generator Updates:
– Changes to optimization for the PG to both 1.4.1 and the forthcoming 1.5 patch releases
– Reduction of PA’s so that distribution is now 90% of current ECK database on a 6-year quota (was previously 115% to allow for players not reaching their potential ability)
– CA generation cap of 59 now applies to all goalies (Was previous 70)
– CA generation floor of -10 players raised to 70 (Was previously 50)
– Ambition and Loyalty for -8, -9, -10, -14 and -15 PA players set to values that will increase salary asks after ELC completion to follow IRL behaviors.
– Increased leadership attribute generation for -9, -10 and -15 players
– Changed non-player generation so that all players that generate with non-player attributes will very likely not make it past the CHL/USHL/U20 Junior league levels
– Changed reputation generation so that it calculates by nationality, will lessen the likelihood of players from non-traditional countries getting drafted unless they’re special
– Increased generation of stickhandling and passing for generated goalies
– Introduced a small number of very tall players (195-200cm when fully grown) with -14PA as PG guys generally cap out at around 192-194cm.
– Increased goalie height floor from 175cm to 180cm

NHL Updates:
– Latest transactions and started re-rates:
— Organizational re-rates (players + unsigned prospects) based on mid-way point of the year: Anaheim, Arizona, Boston, Calgary, Vancouver, Washington, Winnipeg — thanks Flinch for the feedback!!
– Updated NCAA/Europe NHL free agents with potential/likely NHL interest

AHL/ECHL Updates:
– Updated colors for Iowa Wild Hawks and Trois-Rivieres Aigles to better match the logos
– Updated all player/staff, jersey numbers, new heights/weights and captains
– Added missing affiliation for Henderson/Fort Wayne
– Removed affiliation for St. Louis/Springfield and Tulsa
– Folded Brampton and added Iowa to North Division and affiliated with Ottawa/Belleville – only a temporary placeholder
– Expanded ECHL to 32 teams and added/updated affiliations (expansion DB)

Canadian Updates:
– Increased reserve limit to 60 from 50 for CHL leagues to give AI/human GMs more flexibility as certain rules can’t be set in game
– Competition types, reputation, transfer rules and tiering updates for all junior leagues — thanks Javs!!
– Updated transfer windows for CHL leagues — thanks Javs!!
– Dropped upper age limit by 1 year (ex 17 for a U18) for more accuracy for non-playable junior leagues without transfer rules — thanks Javs!!
– Updated players/staff for AJHL, BCHL, QJHL, MJHL
– Added Blackfalds Bulldogs to AJHL and updated schedule and players/staff
– Added Winnipeg Freeze to MJHL and updated schedule and players/staff

– Partial updates for OHL players and prospects, also updated player rights:

– Removed loans for all CHL leagues
